Aqualyx®- Fat Dissolving Injections

AQUALYX® is a safe and effective fat dissolving injection which helps dissolve stubborn areas of fat which are difficult to reduce with diet and exercise.

The fat dissolving injection liquifies fat cells, destroying them for good without the need for liposuction. The liquids are then released and eliminated naturally by the lymphatic system. Quick, convenient and minimally invasive.

Even a strict diet and exercise regime fails to reduce areas of fatty deposits due to the way that fat cells are structured in certain areas.

AQUALYX® Fat Dissolving can be used for various parts of the body including;

  • Stomach

  • Waist

  • Saddle Bags

  • Hips

  • Thighs

  • Upper arms

  • Double Chin

  • Instagram
  • Facebook

HOW DOES THE AQUALYX® TREATMENT WORK?

The treatment involves small injections of liquid fat dissolver into the soft fat and then the dissolving process starts. AQUALYX® works by locking onto the walls of the fat cells, making them unstable which then releases the content of fatty acid inside. The body then uses up the fatty acid as energy and removes the cell residue in its normal way.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE AQUALYX® TREATMENT?

The AQUALYX® is injected into the tissue using a thin needle. It injected directly into the subcutaneous fat tissue.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I REQUIRE?

The amount of treatments varies depending on the amount of fat deposit you hold and also on the desired outcome you wish to achieve. On average you should expect to have around 2 to 6 treatments with 4 to 6 week intervals.

WHEN IS AQUALYX® NOT RECOMMENDED?

AQUALYX® is not recommended if you are suffering from acute or chronic skin disease in the affected area. For safety reasons all patients with a medical history including anaphylactic reactions, severe allergies, severe illnesses, autoimmune diseases, diabetes and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are excluded from any treatment with  AQUALYX®.

WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER TREATMENT?

You should avoid direct sources of heat and radiation (Saunas, UV radiation, sunlight). We recommend you avoid any strenuous exercise for 7 days. Do not apply any cosmetics to the treated area within a 12 hour period.

WHAT WILL IT LOOK LIKE IMMEDIATELY AFTER?

Typically the area is sore for up to 48 hours and swollen for 2-3 days with swelling maximal at 24 hours post-injection treatment. Bruising can occur. Gentle massage to the area is advised.

ARE THE RESULTS PERMANENT?

YES, the treatment results are permanent. Whilst the body can regenerate fat cells – the process is very slow. So once fat cells are removed from a localised area your results are as good as permanent regardless of a persons weight gain, however, if you do not continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle post procedure this can mean that fat cells could increase in other areas of the body.

WHEN WILL I SEE THE RESULTS?

Results can be seen within as little as 6 weeks, however in some cases it can take upto 3 months, so do plan ahead for this treatment.
